SPKC asks to refer to June 26 passengers who have traveled on the route Valka – Riga – Valmiera – Valka

Epidemiologists at the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (SPCC) have found that a passenger with COVID-19 On June 26, 2020, traveled by bus on the route Valka – Riga – Valmiera – Valka.

Therefore, the SPKC asks to refer to bus passengers who traveled on June 26 on the following routes:

  • Valka – Riga left at 5:40 by VTU “Valmiera” bus (flight no. 760016)
  • Riga – Valmiera departed at 13:35 with JSC “Nordeka” (flight no. 7743), route Riga – Valmiera – Rūjiena.
  • Valmiera – Valka departed at 16:05 by VTU “Valmiera” bus (flight no. 782509).

All passengers traveling on these routes are subject to home quarantine. Passengers must stay at home and contact the SPKC epidemiologist 67271738 (between 17:00 and 8:30) or tel. 64281131 (working hours 8:30 – 17:00).

Everyone has the opportunity to take the state-paid Covid-19 test, even if there are no symptoms. To take the test, you must first sign in by calling a phone number 8303 on weekdays from 08:00 to 20:00, on Saturdays from 09:00 to 15:00 and on Sundays from 09:00 to 12:00.

The SPKC reminds that in such cases, the Stop Covid app has been created as an additional tool for the public and epidemiologists to find out more quickly if you have been in contact with a Covid-19 sufferer. By using the app, you will be able to isolate yourself in time so as not to endanger family, colleagues, friends and other residents.
