There seems to be no doubt that Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home will be the greatest success of the pandemic era.
But according to the latest predictions, the third solo adventure of Tom Dutch web-slinger yielding more than double what most movies brought in during their total run. And we’re only talking about the opening weekend!
The latest forecasts from Box Office Pro, shared on Twitter by Charlie Jatinder, have suggested that Spidey’s latest outing is headed for a $200 million US dollar debut and a stunning $500 million dollar worldwide score after just 4 days.
This is of course great if you consider that the markets in China, Japan and various European countries are still in doubt about the release and a new corona variant is giving governments worldwide a headache.
#SpiderManNoWayHome crossed $50M in pre-sales in just 3 days of sales. 2nd fastest ever behind #AvengersEndgame. Don’t see it missing $200M unless something goes terribly wrong. $250M is quite in sight if everything holds up. Let’s see how things goes. pic.twitter.com/uU3wLAUCqE
