What is the hit of the 1990s? They will try to answer that question at Nostalgie for the next two weeks. Is the Nothing else matters from Metallica, Barbie girl from Aqua or still Rhythm is a dancer from Snap? Herbert Bruynseels and Astrid Philips already gave the starting signal on Monday to vote for the 90s Top 990. It will be broadcast from September 19 to September 25. You can vote up to and including Friday 18 September 6 pm via the Nostalgie app or nostalgie.be.
Those who vote also have a chance to win a ticket for the online living room quiz Nostalgia QuizPaleis on September 25. Not entirely coincidentally a name with a nod to the immortal Swingpaleis, and not coincidentally also presented by Swingpaleis-diva Leen Demaré, who was a regular guest there. Those who could not obtain a ticket can watch live via the website at 8 pm.
Not only the ultimate 990 hits of the 90s can be heard from September 19th. They also look beyond the music. Legendary ringtones, immortal classics and gadgets and crazy clothing trends are featured. The morning show looks back on the newspapers of that time. The most iconic films from those years are also shown, and Bjorn Verhoeven calls well-known nineties figures in his column Call me.
