(ANSA) – LA SPEZIA, 21 AUG – In the aftermath of the historic promotion to Serie A, the Municipality of La Spezia intervenes with a resolution of 40 thousand euros for the feasibility study aimed at adapting the municipal stadium, and therefore to guarantee Eagles to be able to play home games of the top flight in their own stadium. Among the planned works, those to reach the minimum required capacity and everything else provided for by the rules of the Serie A League for the conduct of matches. The request for the derogation to use the Peak in this championship will be made by the company which, in agreement with the Municipality of La Spezia, will carry out the works. By 24 August, the date of registration to Serie A, Spezia Calcio will indicate the stadium where the team will play, pending the adaptation of the Peak. “La Spezia in Serie A is history – said the mayor Peracchini -. The goal is to adapt the Peak as soon as possible to Serie A so that, once the Coronavirus emergency is over, it is possible to continue following with even more passion for the team. With Spezia Calcio we are defining an agreement for the necessary works to obtain the exemption and therefore play at the Peak as soon as possible.
