Specifications of AMD Renoir desktops for desktops were available on the website of Biostar – Computer – News

Specifications and product names of some AMD Renoir desktop apus have appeared on the website of motherboard manufacturer Biostar. The specifications were listed on a motherboard’s product page.

The specifications can be found on the product page of a B550 motherboard of the company, writes Hardware.info. The chips were listed in a list of supported processors, although they have since been taken from the website.

According to the list, the Ryzen 7 4700G will be the highest-positioned Renoir apu, supposedly getting 8 cores with simultaneous multithreading. This processor gets, as expected, a clock speed of 3.6GHz and a tdp of 65W, which makes the chip broadly similar to the current Ryzen 7 3700X. There will also be a Pro variant of the 4700G. The clock speed and tdp remain the same for that model, according to the specifications. According to the list, AMD also comes with a GE variant, which will probably be more energy efficient. This processor gets a clock speed of 3.1GHz and a tdp of 35W.

Some Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 apus are also listed. These are expected to receive six and four cores with smt, respectively. The Ryzen 5 4400G gets a clock speed of 3.7GHz, while the GE variant runs at 3.3GHz. The Ryzen 3 4200G and 4200GE are clocked at 3.8GHz and 3.5GHz respectively.

It is not yet known when AMD will announce the Renoir desktop apus. Several manufacturers do mention the chips on their website, in addition to Biostar. That’s what ASRock calls support for Renoir chips on its product page Taichi B550 motherboard. Presumably, the chips will therefore be made public in the short term. In addition, according to rumors, the company would soon be with a refresh from its current Ryzen 3000 desktop processors. These are said to be announced on June 16.
