Major General Ashraf Amer, head of the Military Production Club, confirmed that he does not intend to complain about the Zamalek channel or Tariq Yahya, the presenter of the program, due to a rumor infected with the name of Morsi, the striker of the military team with the Corona virus.
Amer said, in exclusive statements to Masrawy: “I ask Tariq Yahya to investigate the accuracy before he talks about news similar to what he said about Bassem Morsi, the team player.”
He added: “Tariq Yahya exported a rumor without verifying its authenticity, especially since the results were not shown yet at that time.”
He continued: “The results of the medical smears to discover Corona appeared on Sunday morning and were sent to us, so how did Tariq Yahya know the result yesterday, Saturday?”
He continued: “Tariq Yahya did not continue with us and did not yet apologize for a rumor in the name of Morsi, but at the same time we do not intend to file a complaint against him or against the Zamalek channel.”
“All the players are in good shape, and in the name of Morsi, he will naturally participate in the exercises in preparation for the resumption of activity,” the military production chief concluded.
