At the regional council of Freiburg there are 1.5 permanent positions in Department 5 – Environment – as soon as possible
Speakers (f / m / d) in Unit 54.5 – Radiation Protection
in the higher service environment, nature conservation, biology, chemistry, physics, occupational safety and market surveillance (department of technical or scientific service, LVO-UM) full-time. The positions are rated according to grade A14.
Your tasks
The area of responsibility of the Radiation Protection Unit 54.5 includes the enforcement of radiation protection law in the Freiburg administrative district in all technical and medical fields of application. The aim is to protect people and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation. The activities include the implementation of approval procedures as well as monitoring and advisory tasks. The activity is linked to both office and field staff.
For these tasks, we are looking for interested and committed applicants with the following professional and personal qualifications:
Completion of a diploma, master’s, state examination or master’s program at a university or another university in equivalent courses or technical or scientific degree of an accredited master’s program at a dual university or a corresponding educational institution or a university of applied sciences,
Experience in dealing with radioactive substances in technology and medicine as well as in the operation of plants for the generation of ionizing radiation with the relevant radiation protection regulations is an advantage.
Expertise in radiation protection is an advantage
Administrative experience is an advantage
high initiative, commitment and teamwork with flexible work arrangements,
particularly strong sense and skill for and in negotiations and a high degree of persuasiveness,
Class B driving license is required.
