SpaceX re-launched the Falcon 9 rocket carrying GPS satellites at Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA on Thursday (17/6). This launch is SpaceX’s 19th launch this year.
The GPS III SV05 satellite mission is the second to launch this month for SpaceX, following the broadband satellite launch for Sirius XM on June 6.
This flight marks the delivery of the fourth GPS satellite by SpaceX to the US military. Three previous GPS III follow-up missions were also launched on Falcon 9 rockets, including two missions last year.
