South Korea extends the time spacing measures to 17 January, hopes to block the coronavirus outbreak

Xinhua news agency reported that South Korea has decided today to extend a two-week extension of social spacing measures amid a new wave of COVID-19 outbreaks.

South Korea’s Central Disaster Response and Security Headquarters said. The Seoul metropolitan area will be governed by a social spacing guideline at level 2.5, or at the highest secondary level, for the next two weeks up to January 17.

South Korean authorities raised the country’s five levels of social spacing measures from level 1, or the lowest level, to 1.5 on Nov. 19 in the capital region. Which covers Seoul, neighboring Gyeonggi Province. And the port city of Incheon in the west Before adjusting to Level 2 for 2 weeks between 24 Nov-7 Dec and 2.5 for 4 weeks until Jan 3 in the Seoul metropolitan area.
