A source inside the football department at Zamalek club confirmed that the Portuguese Jesualdo Ferreira, the former coach of Zamak and the Qatari dam, is steps away from taking over the technical leadership of the team, succeeding the Frenchman Carteron, who took over the training of Saudi cooperation after the termination of his contract with Zamalek.
The source added that the negotiations with Ferreira are close to being formally resolved, and it remains only to sign contracts after removing all the reasons for disrupting the deal, between financial and the number of assistants.
While the Swiss Christine Gross came in second place after Ferreira, due to the latter’s adherence to the inclusion of a large number of assistants, which Zamalek refuses, for not charging the club’s treasury with additional money in foreign currencies.
