Sony apologizes pre-order PlayStation 5 messed up, this is the solution

Sony already opened pre-orders for PlayStation 5, although the new game console will be launched on 15 November. Unfortunately, the pre-order process went awry.

Sony apologized for the messy PS5 pre-orders and will continue to improve the quality of service to customers. The statement was conveyed via Twitter PlayStation.

“To be honest: PS5 pre-orders can be much smoother. We apologize for that, “said Sony, reported by The Verge, Monday (21/9).

Other than that, Sony also promised to add PS5 product supply to the market.

“Over the next few days, we will be releasing more PS5 consoles for pre-order. Retailers will share full details and more PS5s will be available until the end of the year,” he said.

Pre-orders for the PS5 console began on Wednesday (16/9), a day earlier before retailers received the pre-orders. That caused chaos when Walmart and the others started randomly opening their PS5 pre-order slots. Some of the pre-orders even disappeared after about a minute.

Walmart had time to add pre-orders to Playstation 5 on September 17th, but it sold out in seconds.

Amazon is also starting to warn customers that some of their PS5 pre-orders may arrive after launch day. Most likely because the retailer doesn’t know exactly how many units it will receive.

PlayStation’s head of marketing, Eric Lampel, had previously promised to notify consumers when pre-orders would be made. Sony uploaded a tweet on Wednesday (16/9) that pre-orders began on Thursday (17/9). Two hours later Walmart began pre-ordering its PS5.

Currently, there are no more consoles available for PS5 pre-orders, but the Cnet site summarizes some of the e-commerce yesterday opening pre-orders for PlayStation 5.

The official PS5 account on the Amazon website sells the PS5 Digital Edition for $ 400, while the PS5 Blu-ray for $ 500. Apart from consoles, they also sell accessories for the DualSense charging station, Pulse 3D wireless headset and HD cameras.

The GameStop site is also out of stock for both consoles. However, consumers can still order the Pulse 3D wireless headset for $ 100 and the PS5 HD Camera for $ 60.

The Best Buy site on yesterday’s pre-order was relatively late, they also sold two PS5 console models and accessories at the same price as on other sites.

The Target site, the one that runs out quickly on pre-order, still has stock for the $ 70 DualSense Wireless Controller.
