Cologne/Bonn. At its meeting yesterday, the Sparkasse KölnBonn Board of Directors appointed Sonja Hausmann as a member of the Board of Sparkasse KölnBonn. Sonja Hausmann will be responsible for private customer business at Sparkasse KölnBonn from summer 2023. She starts as a general representative and will take over the board department after a transitional period required by supervisory law. The replacement became necessary because Volker Schramm, who was previously a board member for private customers, has taken on a position on the board of Sparkasse Krefeld.

Sonja Hausmann has been responsible for the entire business with private and corporate customers as a board member at Sparkasse Harburg-Buxtehude for more than four years. In the years before she assumed responsibility for the board, she was able to gain experience in other savings banks. Sonja Hausmann puts her heart and soul into sales and appreciates direct contact with customers.

dr Ralph Elster, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse KölnBonn, is pleased about the competent addition to the Sparkasse’s Board of Directors: “In times of a challenging banking environment, we need a lot of expertise in the management of private customer business. This is the only way that Sparkasse KölnBonn can continue to offer excellent products and services for our customers in Cologne and Bonn. We wish Sonja Hausmann every success and every success in her new role.”

From July 1, 2023, Cathrin Dauven will also strengthen the management of Sparkasse KölnBonn as General Manager. She takes on tasks in the department headed by Rainer Virnich, which includes key staff functions such as credit analysis, back office and process management. Cathrin Dauven is currently head of the central division at Sparkasse Aachen. After completing her training in Aachen, she successfully completed several positions in private customer sales and credit.

“I am delighted that we have been able to recruit two colleagues in Sonja Hausmann and Cathrin Dauven, both of whom will fit very well into our team with their many years of experience in the savings bank organization,” says Ulrich Voigt, CEO of Sparkasse KölnBonn.
