The Puerto Rican Carlos Bracero González, resident in the state of Virginia, United States, who is the son of the well-known producer Josantonio Mellado, was positive for the Coronavirus, after a week of hospitalization and with the symptoms of this terrible virus that wraps the world.
Carlos started feeling bad last week after a multi-day work trip to South Carolina. Upon returning to Virginia, he went to the hospital and was immediately admitted to the district hospital.
“We are going through some very difficult days. He is in the ICU unit and they do not allow visits. We stay in communication so they can give us the latest evolution. Today, precisely, they told us that he was beginning to react with a little improvement, he has dropped fever. We are confident that Carlos, 42, who is a very strong and healthy man, can overcome the disease. We ask the people of Puerto Rico, whom Carlos loves, to join us in prayer for their health ” Josantonio Mellado said in a written communication, urging Puerto Ricans to take this very dangerous virus very seriously and take care not to get it.
Carlos, born in Bayamón, is the foster son of producer Mellado, who is very distressed and worried, as is his wife and mother of Carlos, Carmen González and his brothers in Puerto Rico, one of them, also producer Josantonio Mellado Jr .
“Looking at the international panorama of the development of this virus, I think that in Puerto Rico we have to take this more seriously and be more strict following the instructions to stay home,” said Mellado.
