Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chis.- Juan Carlos Armendariz documented with two videos that went up to his account of Facebook the moment that is shot and wounded in a leg by an escort of his wife, María Escandón, daughter of the governor of Chiapas, Rutilio Escandón (Morena).
Armendariz claimed that María Escandón has not allowed him to see his son for three months. In the place there were municipal police officers, who were witnesses to the assault, but did not intervene, and only requested the complainant herself to calm down.
“Mr. governor I ask for your support immediately on the day of today, 20 of June of 2020 just by going to see my son, and leave him some flowers, grabbed him, and I began to follow, gives sadness (…) look, sir, I know that I’m not going to re-walk the same, but everything is for my son,” we hear Juan Carlos Armendariz.
In a third video sees him in a Hospital bed San Lucas, where it shows the wound and asks the doctor to explain in what conditions is found, prior to entering surgery. After the explanation reiterates: “this happened to me by going to see my son and leave him some flowers, a day before father’s day”.

In the meantime, the State Attorney General’s office (FGE), through the office of the Prosecutor of the Metropolitan District, issued a statement in which he states that “started the folder of research by the violent events which occurred in the afternoon of the Saturday in the centre of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, in which a male was injured with a projectile from a firearm”.

“After hearing the news, criminal elements of the Police Ministerial headed by the prosecutor of the Public prosecutor initiated the investigations of the cabinet and the field tending to clarify the facts and determine responsibilities,” he said.
In accordance with the folder of research, two men argued in the street and later one of them fired a gun, causing an injury to the left leg of the other person, which was aided by municipal authorities while the perpetrator was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
The State Attorney General’s office, who heads Jorge Llaven Abarcaendorsed once again its serious commitment to the chiapas to ensure the rule of law and reiterated that no anti-social behaviour will go unpunished.
