Perunad: The Perunad police arrested the son for hitting his father on the head for not paying his pension amount. Arun Sathyan (31) was arrested by Perunad Police at Madamon Kotuppara West Charu in Perunad. The attack took place at home on Monday evening.
Police said Arun hit his father on the head with a steel cup and is charged in several cases.
He was produced in court and jailed. Under the leadership of Perunad Police Inspector Rajeev Kumar, SI. Vijayan Thambi, CPO Vinesh, Sujith and Haridas captured the accused.
