A charity beach soccer tournament was organized on the Valras beaches.
If the outside temperatures have timidly dropped, Miss Ukraine 2020 could well have brought yet another heat wave in Biterrois. This Saturday, June 16, Yelizaveta Yastremskaya went to Valras-Plage, where a beach-soccer tournament was organized, for the benefit of the Kepis pescalunes association.
The structure has been working since 2005 for sick children and orphans of the national gendarmerie. Part of the money raised will be donated to the Ukrainian, who, for her part, came to France to work for Ukrainian children now orphaned following the war in the country.
Arriving in France on June 12, Miss Ukraine 2020 fled her country, and more precisely the capital, kyiv, where she spent her entire life. After having chained numerous interviews, Yelizaveta Yastremskaya landed in Hérault this Saturday morning.
Following her quick visit to the Valras-Plage beach soccer tournament, the Miss went, in the process, to Montpellier to attend the election of Miss Montpellier 2022. “I have always worked for childrensourit Yelizaveta Yastremskaya. Whether in my country since my election, or elsewhere in the world now.“

Between mobilization and awareness
“Today, my duty as a Miss is no longer just to look pretty and do charity work, hammers the tall brunette with blue eyes. I now have to show the world the importance of mobilizing for children, and to raise awareness of all that is happening in my country at the moment. This is the reason why I came here, to French soil. I had projects to accomplish.“
At the end of her mobilization campaign, Miss Ukraine 2020 wishes to return to her country as soon as possible. “Even if I love France and I like it a lot! I still have a lot of projects to complete at home“, concludes the refugee who left family and friends behind. This Saturday, no less than €4,000 was donated, by check, by the company Veolia (€3,000) and the Valras team. -Beach (€1,000) The funds raised will be shared between the Kepis pescalunes and the orphans of Ukraine.

In addition to donations, the association continued to raise funds throughout the day. Whether with the raffle set up, where participants could try to win autographed jerseys from Antoine Dupont or Olivier Giroud, or with the stand of accessories of all kinds made available.
Even if the fundraising was the main engine of this day on the Valrassian beaches, dozens of teams from the gendarmerie companies of Béziers, Montpellier and Grenoble wet the jersey, and this, from 9:30 a.m.
