Sol Puerto Rico Limited (Sol), distributor of Shell fuels and Pennzoil lubricants in Puerto Rico, awarded more than $ 30,000 in Shell Gift Cards to hospitals that are struggling day after day with COVID-19 cases on the island.
The initiative responded to the interest of Sol Puerto Rico to recognize the work of many of these health professionals who get up every day to provide support and medical care to patients. In particular, the medical personnel who fight the novel COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the first row and who move day by day from their home to the workplace were recognized.
This contribution went directly to the hospitals, whose directors and personnel in charge of the respective areas are distributing the Shell Gift Cards among their team of doctors, nurses and other workers who are at the forefront of care for the communities. These may redeem Shell Gift Cards at participating Shell service stations for the purchase of fuel.
