National Police Commission (National Police Commissioner) appreciates Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Commissioner Roberto Pasaribu and his staff who succeeded in solving the case video porno transnational networks involving minors. Kompolnas said that the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police had succeeded in collaborating well with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
“Kompolnas gives high appreciation to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief and his staff for their excellent cooperation with the FBI so that they succeeded in tracking and mapping the international network of online child pornography, where there were victims who were Indonesian children, and arrested 5 of the perpetrators. ,” said National Police Commissioner Poengky Indarti to journalists, Saturday (24/2/2024).
“Children are vulnerable to becoming victims of violence, including sexual violence in the form of international online pornography objects,” he added.
Poengky hopes that the arrest of international network perpetrators can dismantle other international network syndicates in Indonesia. That way, said Poengky, Indonesian children can be saved.
“Kompolnas hopes that the arrest of the perpetrators of this international network can dismantle other international networks in Indonesia that use Indonesian children as objects of online child pornography, so that Indonesian children can be saved,” he said.
Poengky emphasized that protecting children is the duty of all parties. Poengky assessed that the collaboration between the Soekarno Hatta Airport Police Chief and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children International Task Force was an excellent example for increasing international cooperation between the National Police and other countries’ police forces.

Transnational Porn Video Case Revealed
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police uncovered a pornographic video case involving minors. The perpetrators are a transnational network.
This network carries out child grooming on the victims. Not only that, they also sexually exploited the victims.
Five people were named as suspects in this child pornographic content case. The perpetrators are known to target child victims through online games, such as Free Fire and Mobile Legend, with the promise of giving gifts.
Police said the suspects had thousands of child pornographic photos and videos in their possession. The pornographic content is then sold across countries via the Telegram application.
Targeting Victims Via Online Games
Police uncover a network of child porn content creators recruiting children. The victims were recruited through the online gaming group communities Free Fire and Mobile Legends.
“It started with an introduction on one of the social media. The victim, who is still a minor, has a social media account and joined an online gaming group community. There the victim met and was in an online gaming community group, Free Fire and Mobile Legends,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Police. Transnational Network
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Ronald Fredi Christian Sipayung said the suspects were suspected of being affiliated with a cross-border network. Apart from Indonesia, there are citizens of other countries who have been arrested by local authorities.
“So all of the people we are processing are Indonesian citizens. The three people arrested by the state police there are local citizens,” said Ronald.
