Stockach (dpa / lsw) – The association cup semifinals between VfR Stockach and 1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen, planned for Saturday, have been canceled. The South Baden Football Association announced on Friday. After a corona infection occurred in the direct vicinity of a VfR player, the city of Stockach, as the responsible infection authority, prohibited the game between the state and the upper division, according to the message.

The affected player is already in quarantine and will be tested this Friday, but the result will not be available until next week. In cooperation with the responsible authorities and the two clubs, after the test result is available, the further procedure and, if necessary, a new event date should be discussed.
