Frankfurt / M. (AP) – Timmo Hardung is the new head of the licensed game department at Eintracht Frankfurt. The long-time employee of coach Julian Nagelsmann at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and at RB Leipzig will move to the Main from Wednesday, according to the Hessian Bundesliga club. Ole Siegel will be the speaker of the new sports director Markus Krösche.
Hardung went to Leipzig in 2019 with Nagelsmann in the same function as he will in Frankfurt in the future, but will not accompany Nagelsmann to FC Bayern Munich for the new season. The 31-year-old native of Heidelberg will work closely with Krösche, who also comes from Leipzig. The 31 year old worked at SC Paderborn as head of the licensed player department until summer 2020.
