Soccer – Frankfurt am Main – Kostic on the return of Jovic: “have blind understanding” – sport

Frankfurt / Main (AP) – Eintracht Frankfurt’s winger Filip Kostic is delighted that his Serbian compatriot Luka Jovic is playing for the Hessian Bundesliga club again. “I would say we have a blind understanding, you don’t have to say much. I know which runs Luka makes and where he needs the balls,” said 28-year-old Kostic of the “Bild” newspaper “(Friday). Jovic moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 for around 60 million euros, but has not been able to assert himself there so far. Now he is on loan to Eintracht until the end of the season.

In the first three games together, Jovic scored three joker goals. Kostic recently flourished with a 5-1 win against newly promoted Arminia Bielefeld with one goal and two assists. “I’m ready to help the team again. We have a great team and can really achieve a lot,” said Kostic. He and his buddy Jovic spend a lot of time together, for example “at breakfast in the stadium, during training and in the weight room.” On Saturday (3.30 p.m. / Sky), Adi Hütter’s team welcomes Hertha BSC.
