Sobyanin spoke about new restrictions. The main thing for motorists :: Autonews

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has announced new restrictions for residents of the capital, which will begin to be introduced on April 13. According to him, this will be done amid the worsening situation with the coronavirus.

“Starting on Monday, the situation began to deteriorate. There is a rapid growth of severe patients with pneumonia. Such a good growth rate of the incidence does not bode well for us. Therefore, coordinating my actions with the leadership of the country, I made the following decisions, ”said the mayor of Moscow.

Restrictions will apply including motorists:

  • Car sharing will stop working. According to Sobyanin, demand for this service fell by 60%, and it is extremely difficult to comply with the disinfection regime in car-sharing cars.
  • From April 13, they will gradually introduce a throughput system. It will be declarative in nature, but as the mayor explained, the city authorities reserve the “right to verify the accuracy of the information provided.”

Sobyanin announced three stages of the access system:

  1. For trips to work;
  2. For trips for other purposes;
  3. Movement within the area.

Earlier, Moscow authorities imposed sanctions for non-compliance with the regime of self-isolation. Violators face a fine of 5 thousand rubles, and the car can be sent to a parking lot. Such measures affected only those Muscovites who are required to be self-isolated due to infection or after arrival from “dangerous” countries. For detection, urban video surveillance systems are used.
