According to Sobyanin, many “rubbed their hands,” they said that restrictions were lifted prematurely, and that “there would be something terrible.”
“Nothing terrible happened,” the mayor noted. “All these peaks have passed. There have been situations where there was an extreme danger that we would fly up again.”
Over the past week, the number of newly diagnosed infected people has decreased in Moscow, and the number of hospitalized, seriously ill patients, in particular those on mechanical ventilation, has been decreasing. The situation, according to the capital’s mayor, is improving week after week.
