Wine has been served on the Alte Mainbrücke again since Wednesday evening – at standing tables. What conditions are there and how it went on a sunny holiday.
Under the Franconian Apostle Sankt Kolonat there are now two standing tables on the Old Main Bridge. On one of them, a cyclist takes a break from shopping, on the other a waiter with a mouthguard pours wine for four guests. At lunchtime, the bridge is well attended on Father’s Day: visitors lean on the railing alone or in pairs, push their bikes in groups or take photos. There is no crowding around the tables. Every Wednesday, restaurateurs set up bar tables on the southern side of the Old Main Bridge on Wednesday evening.
