Snoop Dogg has promised that his next album will show a new side of his personality, Contactmusic reports.
The idea of the rapper is this time to reveal the gentler side of his character, which he never allowed in previous records.
“This is a project in which there is more than an element of surprise, but at the same time it will be much discussed even before it comes out,” the star explained to MTV News, writes inews.bg.
“It’s a really special project for me because it’s like a rebirth, showing who I really am.”
Snoop Dogg is confident that his new album will continue to ensure the longevity of rap music and culture. The rapper is sure that this project will be talked about in the next 40-50 years and will allow him to “step into the world of stadiums” to play huge concerts.
Even if that doesn’t happen, the singer could settle for a big enough crowd this year – he’ll be headlining the Coachella music festival in April alongside Radiohead, Dr Dre and The Black Keys.
