SNCF, bus and Divia tram … disruptions in transport in Dijon and Côte-d’Or

Traffic will be severely disrupted in Côte-d’Or, at SNCF and on the Divia transport network in Dijon this Thursday, December 5. The call for a strike against the pension reform promises to be very popular in Côte-d’Or, as at the national level.

Slight disturbances from December 4

On the SNCF side, in Côte-d’Or, the strike will have effects from Wednesday, December 4 in the evening, with some “slight disturbances in Bourgogne Franche Comté de TER from 19:00”.

Strong regional disruption on December 5

In Burgundy – Franche – Comté, there will be only four round trips by TGV on Thursday, a single round trip from Intercités, between Paris and Clermont (via Nevers) and eleven round trips by TER. SNCf specifies that “traffic on the rest of the regional axes will be by coach (between 1 and 5 return trips depending on the axes)” and adds that “100 additional buses have been installed compared to the traditional offer“.

TGV

  • 2 round trip Macon Loché TGV / Le Creusot TGV <> Paris
  • 2 round trip Besançon / Dijon <> Paris

Intercities:

  • Round trip Paris Clermont (via Nevers)

TUE :

  • 4 round trip Dijon <> Macon,
  • 3 round trip Dijon <> Montbard,
  • 4 round trip Dijon <> Besançon.

Finally, there will be no traffic (neither bus nor train) on the Besançon TGV – Besançon Viotte axis, and the Dijon – Nevers – Tours axis.

One in ten trains nationwide

At the national level, we already know that traffic will almost stop. Only 10% of trains will run: one TGV out of ten will be in circulation. According to SNCF management, you have to “two to three round trips” Paris-Lyon, Paris-Marseille, Paris-Montpellier and Paris-Besançon, “six round trips” between Paris-Lille and only one return trip Paris-Strasbourg, Paris-Nancy, Paris-Metz, or Paris-Reims. It gets even more complicated on the side TER where only 3% of Regional Express Trains will run.
