JAKARTA – The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology will change the future face of world civilization, although some groups oppose it and some support it.
Like smart phones or smartphones, in the future they will also be replaced by more sophisticated devices.
Artificial Intelligence allows humans to replace the role of cellphones as their daily devices.
The device is called AI-Pin Wearable, and this has just been released by a startup called Humane. Its size is much smaller than a smartphone, and must be plugged into the user’s clothes.
Then, the information in the device can be accessed directly on the palm of the hand or other body, and will become a kind of projector screen.
The way to use it is the same. AI-Pin control can be accessed through combinations such as gestures and the user’s voice, as quoted by The Verge, Tuesday (14/11/2023).
This device is indeed much smaller, compared to current cellphones. The small rectangular shape is similar to the AI-Pin’s weight, only 34 grams and the total with the battery is 54 grams.

Startup Humane also equips the AI-Pin device with a 13 MP camera. This lens is responsible for taking photos and recording videos.
To record video, users only need to tap or ‘tapping’ on the device’s touchpad. Next, the device will emit a small light, indicating that recording mode has been activated.
The device is supported by a Snapdragon chip, although the type was not disclosed. Meanwhile, the AI technology uses GPT-4, which was developed by the company that makes ChatGPT, OpenAI.

Humane will officially launch AI Pin in 2024. The price is the same as most high-end cellphones today, namely US$699 or around Rp. 10.9 million.
