Slovakian Defender Erik Černák Plays 300th NHL Game in Tampa Bay Lightning’s Overtime Loss to Buffalo Sabres

The Tampa Bay Lightning hockey players lost to the Buffalo Sabers 2:3 in overtime on Wednesday night in the NHL. Slovakian defender Erik Černák played his 300th game in the pro league in the away team’s jersey.

Tampa was losing 0:2 after the first period, but with two goals by Brandon Hagel, they took the match to overtime. In it, Dylan Cozens finally decided the triumph of the “sabres” after 106 seconds.

Juraj Slafkovský joined the Montreal lineup, the Canadiens lost to Minnesota 2:5 at home. The Slovak attacker weakened his team twice, the guests punished both of his fouls in a power play. Wild were pulled by three points Kirill Kaprizov (1+2) and Mats Zuccarello (0+3). Leon Draisaitl from Edmonton collected four points for two goals and two assists. His team easily beat Nashville 6-1.
