The Skylink satellite service has expanded its offer with two Czech TV Prima channels. As of today, the operator’s subscribers can tune in to the new Prima Show and Prima Star programs in SD quality (SD / MPEG-4). Both novelties are available for both Slovak and Czech clients from the Digital package.
The Prima Show channel started on November 25, 2021, primarily focused on reality shows. The new channel aims to reach young viewers, especially women, whether through original or foreign reality shows.
Prima Star brings viewers the best of Prima’s rich archive. There are entertainment programs, competitions and reality shows. The program officially launched on June 14, 2021.
TIP: Skylink has been eliminated by ČT Sport. The end of the program for Slovak viewers?
Users of Skylink Ready devices with the FastScan function enabled will find programs in positions 34 and 40 (26 and 30 for the Czech Republic). We bring more detailed technical parameters below.
The Prima Show and Prima Star programs broadcast Skylink on the Astra 3B satellite (23.5 ° E) from the frequency of 11,934 MHz. Both programs do not have the older Cryptoworks coding system connected, but only Irdeto, Nagravision, Viaccess and Conax. In practice, this means that owners of older facilities without the support of the Irdeto system will not be able to receive these programs.
