Verbier Ski Resort is a vacation spot frequented by British people, so called’Little London’. During winter, one in five tourists in the area were filled with British, the Guardian said.
With the recent spread of the highly spreading corona 19 virus in the UK, the Swiss quarantine authorities ordered all British citizens who entered the country after the 14th to self-isolate for ten days.
Among the British staying at Verbier, 420 were quarantined under these guidelines. However, “at least half of them disappeared after a day of quarantine orders,” the local media said.
