Six Ile-de-France clubs on the C’Chartres menu for the 2020-2021 season

The FFR steering committee has validated the composition of the pools in federal competitions for the next season. The C’Chartres Rugby was placed in pool 1 of Federal 2 made up of 50% of teams from the Paris region.

Chartres begins recruitment for the next season

As in 2019-2020, Ludovic Mercier’s men will cross swords with Gennevilliers, Le Havre, Plaisir, Courbevoie and Le Rheu, and will discover formations like Orsay, Antony-Métro 92, RC Baulois, SC Surgèrien, Stade Domontois and the Poitevin Stadium.

In total, the CCR will face six Ile-de-France clubs (Gennevilliers, Plaisir, Courbevoie, Orsay, Antony-Métro 92, Stade Domontois).

“The presentation of federal competitions for the 2020/2021 season is part of a scenario of resumption of the practice of Rugby voluntarily optimistic. Indeed, the formats and the calendars of the competitions presented integrate a resumption of the championships from the beginning of September […]”, specifies the FFR in its press release.

“Obviously, the calendar for resuming practice and competitions remains conditioned by the evolution of the health situation throughout the territory. The FFR therefore reserves the right, through its governing bodies, to proceed if necessary to the necessary modifications. “

The first day of Federal 2 is scheduled for the weekend of September 12 and 13.

The formula : It remains the same as in the 2019-2020 season which could not be completed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 1st and 2nd group are qualified directly for the 1 / 16th finals in the return leg.
The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th group play a round of play-offs, in a knockout match on the field of the highest ranked at the end of the qualifying phase.
