Siva Rajkumar Reflects on the Life-Changing Role of Narasimha in Jailer

When Jailer, directed by Nelson and starring Rajinikanth, hit the theaters, there were two other people who had clapped along with Style Mannan. Mohanlal and Siva Rajkumar. In this, Siva Rajkumar’s character as Narasimha was a hit in Kerala as well. Many people wanted to make a spin-off film with this character as the hero. Siva Rajkumar has said that Narasimha was a life-changing experience for his film career.

In an interview given to Galata Plus as part of the promotion of the film Ghost, Shivraj Kumar talked about the popularity of his role in Jailor outside Kannada cinema. Many people call him Narasimha now. I don’t know if a role of just ten minutes could have changed someone’s life like this. It is a life changer in a way. He said he is happy about it.

“Life has changed and I am happy with what people have given me here. For me, this is a new experience. I am a lead actor carrying a film of 80 scenes. I did a role of just eight minutes in Jailer. Now I am being compared to Rolex in Vikram. I don’t know what is happening. It was a new experience. Siva Rajkumar said.”

“People may think that I am acting. But it is not the truth. Even my wife asked me what is going on here after seeing the acceptance of the character in Jailer. Wherever I go, Chennai, Hyderabad, US, Dubai etc., people approach me by mentioning the name of Jailer. I recently went to a hotel for 400- There were many Tamil Nadu people there. They all came and took selfies. When the hotel staff asked if I would have any trouble, I said let them enjoy this happiness.” He added.

Jailer collected more than 650 crores globally. The role of Mathew played by Mohanlal in the film also received a lot of applause. Siva Rajkumar’s forthcoming film Ghost is directed by Srini. Jayaram is playing the lead role in the film.
