Epidemiological report:
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 6,346 analyzes were carried out and 101 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected.
Of the 101 new cases, 48 are from Montevideo, 26 from Canelones, 6 from San José, 4 from Tacuarembó, 3 from Salto, 2 from Artigas, 2 from Cerro Largo, 2 from Florida, 2 from Maldonado, 2 from Rocha, 2 from Soriano, 1 from Paysandú and 1 from Colonia.
Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 2020, 3,311,769 tests have been processed and 384,622 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 377,426 have already been recovered.
Today, 1 death with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 was confirmed in our country (table with detail is attached). So far, there are 6,027 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.
Currently there are 1,169 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 10 of them are in critical care centers.
Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 9,089 correspond to health personnel. 9,029 of them have already recovered, 32 are suffering from the disease and 28 have died.
As of today, all departments register active cases.
CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 384,531. Today 101 new cases and a total of 384,622 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because, according to the MSP, 10 cases were eliminated.
