Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP)Today 15,815 analyzes were carried out and 3,786 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 3,786 new cases, 1919 are from Montevideo, 609 from Canelones, 147 from Rivera, 145 from Cerro Largo, 121 from Salto, 115 from Maldonado, 107 from Artigas, 114 from Tacuarembó, 85 from San José, 80 from Paysandú, 56 from Colonia, 56 from Soriano, 53 from Florida, 43 from Durazno, 34 from Lavalleja, 30 from Treinta y Tres, 29 from Río Negro, 23 from Rocha and 20 from Flores. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 1,504,177 tests have been processed and 137,946 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total 104,241 have already been recovered.

Today, 52 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country (table with detail is attached). So far there are 1,363 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

Currently there are 32,342 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 453 of them are in intensive care.

Of the total of confirmed positive cases, 5,619 correspond to health personnel. 4,908 of them have already recovered, 704 are suffering from the disease and 7 have died.

As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.

NOTE:

The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 130,657. The total number of confirmed deaths until yesterday was 1,275. The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) today reports 3,786 new cases, 52 confirmed deaths, a total of 137,946 confirmed positive cases and a total of 1,363 deaths so far. The differences are explained by the update work developed by the Epidemiology Division of the Ministry of Public Health, in conjunction with the Salud.uy program, laboratories and health providers at the national level and will be explained in a report that will be published shortly .
