Actress Ahn So-young looked back on her past when she left for America while working as an actress and struggled as a ‘single mom’.

The KBS2 entertainment program ‘Park Won-sook’s Let’s Live Together Season 3’, which aired on the 14th, was decorated with a 100th special talk concert.

On this day’s broadcast, Ahn So-young told the story of how she suddenly moved to the United States in the late 1990s and started a business.

Ahn So-young said, “I gave birth to a child of my choice. I started by saying that I would take that child to the United States and live there. But my son really liked soft tofu. So I opened a soft tofu restaurant without fear.”

However, Ahn So-young confided that the restaurant could not be opened for a year because the construction was not finished. Then she said that with the help of the village manager, she was able to open a restaurant in one day in every American town.

Ahn So-young said, “The Village team manager happened to be going home in the evening, and the light was on in the store, so he came in and asked, ‘Why can’t you open the store?’ The person hung up the phone and said, ‘I’ll open it tomorrow.’ That person called the electrician and the kitchen people and stamped it at 10 o’clock that night,” he explained.

When Park Won-sook asked, “Isn’t it a beauty benefit?” Ahn So-young replied, “No. The American said he was curious about ‘when that house will open’. And after hearing the story, he let me do it.”

Ahn So-young also told an anecdote that the number of customers increased dramatically after a Chinese customer visited.

Ahn So-young said, “I opened the restaurant like that, and a customer came, but I didn’t know whether to bring water or what to do. At that time, a Chinese grandfather came and ate a bowl of soft tofu that cost $7.99 and gave me $100. The money They told me to hang it on the counter. They said it would bring good fortune. I received it, and after a while, a lot of Chinese customers came in. That’s how I started doing business in the United States.”

Meanwhile, Ahn So-young made her debut in the 1982 movie ‘Lady Ae-ma’, and after giving birth to a son in 1997, she left for the United States to raise her son alone. In November of last year, in ‘Park Won-sook’s Let’s Live Together Season 3’, he revealed that her son asked her about her father when he was in the 4th grade of elementary school, and at that time the child’s father had already passed away.
