Singer “LP” concert “Arena Riga” postponed to autumn

The concert of Laura Pergolici or singer “LP” scheduled for February 19 in “Arena Riga” has been postponed to September 20, informs the representative of the event organizer “L Tips Agency” Līva Toniņa.

She said that due to the growing prevalence of Covid-19, concerts of this scale will not be allowed in February, as the world’s leading epidemiologists predict that the pandemic will be over by the autumn. Toniņa noted that the entire planned “LP” European concert tour will be postponed to the autumn, where Riga is only one of many stops.

A spokeswoman for L Tips Agency said those who had already purchased tickets did not have to do anything extra – they were still valid. In turn, those who have not yet managed to buy them will continue to sell tickets in the “Ticket Service” network.

Toniņa pointed out that “LP” started its fame in Europe with the platinum status hit “Lost On You”, which in 2016 won the music charts throughout Europe, especially in our region and Greece. But “LP” is not a story about one hit, almost every song of her on the Spotify streaming service is in the millions.

A month ago, on December 3, LP released their sixth studio album, Churches, which featured the single “Goodbye,” “The One That You Love,” and “How Low Can You Go.”
