Before the final of’Singer Gain’, Yoari told the story behind the stage.
The long-awaited final round of JTBC’Singer Gain-Unknown Singer’ (hereinafter’Singer Gain’) will be aired at 10:30 pm on Monday, February 8th. Lee So-jung, Lee Jeong-kwon, Jung Hong-il, Lee Seung-yoon, Yoari, and Lee Moo-jin, who have advanced to the TOP6, play the final battle with names instead of numbers.
Pre-voting online is in progress ahead of the’Singer Gain’ final. For voting, you can access the voting screen by entering’sing-a-gain’ in the portal Naver search box, and you can vote only once per day per ID (ID) and multiple selections are allowed. Prior to the final round, Yoari, an icon of growth, who overcame stage fright and appeared in front of the public with an attractive tone, gave his impressions.
Q. It is now called’Singer Yoari’ instead of ’47’. How did you feel when you were on the naming stage?
A. There was a pleasant shyness. Since a singer can exist only when the public calls it, does the identity of the singer come from the name in the end? The reason for appearing in the audition program is also to make the name known, but it has been called ’47 singer’ instead of his name. I had a contest in a state of shock, but the moment I revealed my name, I felt really good.
Q. The name’Yoari’ is impressive. What do you mean?
A. The name’Ari’ of’echo’ is attached to’song yo(謠)’, meaning’song sound’. I’m happy to hear a lot of saying’your name is pretty’ through’Singer Gain’.
Q. You talked about your stage fright. You must have had a lot of thoughts before deciding to participate in’Singer Gain’?
A. There was a gap of about 4 or 5 years. I thought a lot about whether it would be right for me to continue living this way. Then, after bumping into something hard once, I wondered if I would be able to think of a person named’I’ nicely by myself, no matter how the result came out. I thought I could think,’It’s cool with the courage itself.’ I wanted to respect myself and overcome difficulties. At that time, an opportunity called’Singer Gain’ came and caught it.
Q. Thanks to that courage, you climbed to the top 6 of’Singer Gain’. Do you have the most memorable stage?
A. Of course, it is the first round. I thought it would really fall. I can’t remember the lyrics and can’t hear the accompaniment when panic comes from the stage. I was on stage in the first round because of that concern, but fortunately I didn’t make any mistakes in the lyrics. I felt so good just with that relief. I sang with a sincere smile.
Q. Judge Song Min-ho’s review of’I want to work together’ became a hot topic.
A. It is Song Min-ho’s’Chin Pan’. I have always thought,’How nice would it be if we could work together’. When I heard that from the judge Song Min-ho at the time of recording, I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t make a good tee. Judge Song Min-ho, I really like it. I really like Song Min-ho (laughs).
Q. I am looking forward to the final selection of Yoari’s’Voice Fairy’. Please tell me.
A. The last stage is also’challenge’. It’s not a style that I sing well. I am participating in every round of’Singer Gain’ focusing on the story I wanted to tell. Again, I chose only the lyrics. I think I can complete the last chapter of’Singer Gain’ well only by singing this song. I hope the lyrics are well delivered on stage.
