Singer Antra Stafeck has revealed in the 360TV program “Say it loudly” why she is often called the singing accountant.
“I always knew I would be a singer,” says Stafecka.
She admits that there was a moment in her childhood when she wanted to become a veterinarian, but her mother’s question whether her daughter is ready to do unpleasant things while treating animals has made Antras rethink and she has stayed with singing.
“Mom really wanted to become an independent, smart woman. Learn to be an accountant. Stable work, children, family, a house with a white fence … That’s what she wanted,” reveals the singer.
Antra reveals that she has learned to be an accountant, but laughs that this is not her calling, and she would never entrust herself with the company’s money.
The singer laughs that the composer Uldis Marhilēvičs once called him a “singing accountant”.
Antra Stafecka is a Latvian singer. In 2008 he participated in the TV3 show “Choir Wars” as a member of the Lielvārde Purple Choir. At the beginning of 2012, Stafeck started participating in the LNT show “OKartes skatuve 2”.
