Yesterday, Friday, November 26, 80s star Irene Cara was found dead at her home in Florida, USA. The singer of hits like ‘Fama’ and ‘Flashdance’ has passed away at the age of 63, while the cause of her death remains unknown.
Icon of dance and interpretation, the one born in New York in 1959 established herself in the artistic environment thanks to her participation in the film “Fame” (1980), as an actress and being central part of the official soundtrack of the film.

Cara entered the Oscar with her Best Original Song nominations, winning the Gold Statuette for the song of the same name. While in 1983 the piece “Flashdance… What a Feeling” earned him a second Oscar.
