Signify Vulnerability in Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 – Image and Sound – News

Good that Signify took this leak seriously and solved it!

Have just taken the trouble to read hackers article, the way they used the hack is quite cumbersome and as far as I understand only possible with lamps that have older firmware, in which the lamp exploit they had already discovered in 2016 is not yet is solved! Lamps have received several updates here since this discovery!

And before people shout that this is not possible with Ikea Tradfri, the exploids were in standard ZigBee commands and how these commands are used, so you can assume that most manufacturers who use ZigBee will suffer from this!
You only have to make a separate image for each manufacturer and lamp hardware version, so that the probability that this will be used seriously by hackers is very low!

But again that Signify neatly solves these types of exploits, however unlikely it may be that a hacker will use this method!
