Otomotifnet.com – Many Pertalite become volatile after increasing to Rp. 10 thousand.

Energy conversion expert, Faculty of Engineering and Aerospace, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Tri Yuswidjajanto Zaenuri, reveals the secrets.

That is to say, explain how to measure the evaporation value of a gasoline.

Because according to him, all types of fuel will still undergo evaporation.

“Fuel as a liquid undergoes evaporation due to atmospheric pressure,” Tri said.

However, Tri continued, fuel evaporation needs to be controlled and with standardized limits.

So that there is a standardization of the minimum and maximum amount of fuel evaporation.

“For fuel evaporation measurement, there is a special instrument that complies with the standard fuel quality test method,” Tri said.

“Like vapor pressure with the ASTM D5191-19 test method,” he continued.
