The police were called last night, in the center of Porto, to disperse a gathering of people.
Around midnight, the PSP and the Municipal Police had to act outside bars, near the Rectory of the University of Porto.
More than a hundred people remained at the site after the bars closed. Some were accompanied by columns and not even the rain dispersed them.
The police had to intervene in an action that took place without incident.
Porto is part of the areas of the country where the level of alert decreed by the Government dropped on Thursday. Even so, gatherings are still limited to a maximum of 20 people, alcohol consumption on public roads is prohibited and restaurants must close at 11 pm.
Bar owners regret the gatherings after closing and blame late deliveries and street vendors for contributing to this rule break.
