Your outfits are impressive! The time has come: On March 28th, the Oscars, Hollywood’s most popular film prize, will again be awarded. But it’s not just film fans who will be following the event with excitement again – fashion lovers will also get their money’s worth. The outfits of the stars at the big gala are real eye-catchers every year. The nominees even dressed up before the actual award ceremony.
At the annual norm party before the event in Los Angeles, the stars already showed up in their fanciest outfits: Will Smith (53), Andrew Garfield (38) and Benedict Cumberbatch (45) each appeared in elegant blue suits. The actors are three of the five nominees for Best Actor. The contenders for the Best Supporting Actor award Kodi Smit-McPhee and Aunjanue Ellis also rely on suits, but chose somewhat more unusual specimens. Clouds were depicted on the jacket of the “The Power of the Dog” actor, while the 53-year-old slipped into a bright pink two-piece suit.
The filmmakers of the golden boy will be presented this year by Lady Gaga (35), Zoe Kravitz (33) and Kevin Costner (67), among others. However, eight of the categories will not be awarded live this time, but will be distributed to the winners before the official ceremony. This is intended to streamline the TV broadcast, in which more than 30 prizes are awarded, and create more space for interim appearances.
