Located on the corner of Route d’Harcourt and Boulevard de la Suisse Normande a Fleury sur Orne, near Caen (Calvados), islet D of the Normandika activity zone is ongoing day by day on 3.8 hectares, between Point P and Castorama. The first stone has just been laid on Wednesday 13 April 2022 and the first store will be a Grand Frais which will open its doors at the end of 2022.
Hotel, supermarket, restaurant …
This new district of the Normandika business park will then house a hotel, a supermarket, a restaurant and 8,500 m² of commercial and tertiary activities. Enough to provide 250 jobs.
Nantes developer-builder Primalys and business real estate specialist Eurivim, in collaboration on this project with Normandie Aménagement and the city of Fleury-sur-Orne, ensure that particular attention is paid to the architectural aesthetics of this complex located at the entrance of the city and possibly served by the tramway. Modular, the surfaces will adapt to the evolution of activities.
35 works at the Grand Frais
Located opposite the Castorama, the Grand Frais shop is under construction. It will open at the end of the year and will offer a 900 m2 sales area on a total area of 2,000 m2. It will be the brand’s third store in the conurbation of Caen. “It will be similar in size to our stores in Carpiquet and Mondeville, but without a bakery, as there are already a few nearby,” says Julien David, head of development.
“We are planning 35 jobs, including internal promotions to executive positions. Hiring will begin two months before opening. “
The fresh specialist will offer fruit and vegetables with a high environmental value (40% of its offer), traditional butchers, dairy products, fishmongers and complementary groceries. These five companies will organize themselves into an Economic Interest Group (EIG). The absence of a bakery still leaves a cell of 250 square meters available.
Redevelop the road to Harcourt
On an area of 79 hectares, of which 60 can be urbanized, Normandie Aménagement has been developing the Normandika business park for Caen la mer, the ZAC dealership, since 1997. The building area is approximately 180,000 m² dedicated to trade, crafts and services.
Today all the land is the subject of study or a purchase option. “At the end of this development, the Harcourt Street at the entrance to the city will be redeveloped and redesigned in its urban functions. “
