According to police chief Joseph Chacon, one of the local hospitals received eleven injured. One of them ended up in the intensive care unit with several gunshot wounds.

Police have closed adjacent streets and assume that the perpetrator has been trapped somewhere in the perimeter. Investigators are looking at camera recordings because they only have a very general description of the shooter.

Detectives do not rule out the participation of local gangs, the motive and circumstances that led to the shooting are not yet known.
