Shin Tae-yong has been crossed out, lots of Rumakiek are sought by PSSI to go to the SEA Games

KOMPAS.com – Chairman PSSI, Mochamad Iriawansaid that his party was working on a cure Many Rumakiek in order to follow SEA Games 2021 in Vietnam.

Many Rumakiek canceled the training centralization Indonesian U23 National Team in South Korea due to a thigh muscle injury.

The aftermath of the Persipura Jayapura young star’s injury, coach Shin Tae-yong crossed out the player from the Indonesian U23 national team squad for SEA Games 2021.

The injury of Ramai Rumakiek is now being handled by PSSI. Mochamad Iriawan ordered the PSSI Head of Medical as well as the Indonesian national team, Syarif Alwi, to bring the player from Jayapura to Jakarta.

Ramai Rumakiek will undergo treatment in Jakarta until his injury heals.

The plan is that the player who was born on April 19, 2002 will fly from Jayapura on Monday (25/4/2022).

Although Ramai Rumakiek has been crossed out by Shin Tae-yong, Iriawan said that the player’s strength is still needed for the SEA Games.

“Rumakiek’s injury must be treated as soon as possible. He has received treatment, but has not yet recovered. That’s why I asked him to seek treatment in Jakarta until he recovers. His energy is very much needed in Vietnam,” said Iriawan, quoted from the official PSSI website.

The ability of Crowded Rumakiek who is qualified in the wing sector is a factor that makes PSSI seek the recovery of players.

PSSI considered that if Rumakiek had to be absent in Vietnam, this condition would be a loss for the Indonesian U23 national team.

“We will work as much as possible to cure Rumakiek. He is an asset to the national team,” said Iriawan.

“He is still young and his career is still long. Hopefully he will recover quickly and be able to join the other players,” added the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.

Many Rumakiek had lost communication with Shin Tae-yong

Ramai Rumakiek was one of the 29 players called by Shin Tae-yong to attend the Indonesian U23 national team training camp in Jakarta and South Korea.

However, he was not included in the Indonesian U23 national team squad that flew to South Korea on Friday (15/4/2022).

The 20-year-old player actually gave information that he had not been able to join the U23 Indonesia national team training camp because of illness.

Hearing the news, Shin Tae-yong is said to have offered him to undergo treatment or recovery in Jakarta. However, Ramai Rumakiek reportedly did not return the offer.

Before leaving for South Korea, the Indonesian U23 national team coach had asked for Ramai Rumakiek’s passport for visa purposes.

Again, the agile wing attacker was silent or did not heed the request.

Shin Tae-yong then chose to be firm by eliminating Ramai Rumakiek from the Indonesian U23 national team squad for the 2021 SEA Games.

“Many Rumakiek cannot play at the 2021 SEA Games,” said Shin Tae-yong, quoted from the PSSI website.

“We have sent a summons, he did not respond at all. So, I have to give sanctions to Ramai Rumakiek,” added Shin Tae-yong.

The Indonesian U23 National Team will soon end the training camp (TC) in South Korea.

The Indonesian U23 national team has undergone TC in South Korea since April 16, 2022 and has played two test matches.

The results of the two test matches of Garuda Muda ended with one win and one loss.

The victory of the Indonesian U23 national team was present when they beat Andong Science College 4-2 on Thursday (21/4/2022).

In the second test match, Garuda Muda surrendered 0-2 to the K-League team or the top division of the South Korean League, Pohang Steelers, Saturday (23/4/2022).

After that, Garuda Muda will first return to Jakarta before leaving for Vietnam on May 3 or 4 to take part in the 2021 SEA Games.
