This is an even better result. Because, in the previous two matches, the U19 national team lost 0-3 to Bulgaria and was knocked out by Croatia 1-7.

Nevertheless, Shin Tae-yong said that his team had homework. Especially in terms of defense and stamina.

“In three trials it was seen that defense was a homework for us to immediately polish it better,” said Shin, quoted from the PSSI website.

“The stamina of players must also be improved,” he said.

On the other hand, the coach from South Korea praised the fighting spirit of his foster children who were able to turn things around despite being behind 0-3.

“Thanks to the players who have worked hard,” said Shin Tae-yong.

“Our first half was good, but there were a few shortcomings that Saudi Arabia were able to exploit into goals.”

“The second half the players were able to play better,” he said.

Meanwhile, Braif Fatari said that he was very happy to be able to save the U19 national team from defeat.
