Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne en HD dès 2021

On his official site in Japanese, Atlus announced the development of a remaster in high definition for role-playing Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. The latter will be distributed on PlayStation 4 and Switch from October 29 in Japan while the rest of the world will have to wait until spring 2021.

This remaster has for foundation Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax Chronicle Edition, which highlights the character Raidou Kuzunoha from the series Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha and who comes to replace Dante of Devil May Cry. For this up-to-date version, Atlus promises improved visuals, a gameplay tweaked, the addition of voices for the various scenes in addition to the normal, difficult and lenient difficulties (the last one offered for download only).

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2003 in Japan. The Nocturne Maniax Chronicle version is a little more recent and dates from 2008. It is therefore more than 17 years after having been born that this classic of the genre JRPG will see the light of day again.
