Single Indonesian male Shesar Hiren Rhustavito thank you for making it through the first stage French Open 2022. Concentration is the key to success this time.
Shesar Hiren Rhustavito encounter Lee Zi Jia in the round of 16 of the BWF Super 750 tournament which took place at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, Wednesday (26/10/2022). He won two consecutive games 21-19, 21-18 in 44 minutes.
This victory at the same time ensures Shesar Hiren Rhustavito winning heads-up against the All England 2021 champions 5-4.
Vito, his nickname, was happy to qualify for the next round, even if he didn’t think about the result early in the game.
“First of all, I am grateful that I managed to win in the first game today. In this game I have not played anything to lose by trying not to think about the results. I have concentrated point by point,” Shesar said in his written statement.
“From the first to the second game the game was very tight. Even the opponent played very well today. I did my best to defend myself well as the opponent has a deadly attack.”
“The key to victory in this match when the points are very tight is concentration and discipline on the pitch,” he said.
Shesar was waiting for Kodai Naraoka from Japan in the round of 16. He is confident that he will overcome the next challenge because the preparations made so far have been good.
“Facing the round of 16, the preparations have been pretty good so far. I’m looking to play better forward than today,” said Shesar.
