The New Cairo Court issued a ruling to punish the artist Hossam Habib, the husband of the actress Sherine Abdel Wahab, with one year imprisonment in the case in which he is accused of attempting to kill the producer, Yasser Khalil, his wife’s former business manager, in front of their house, after he declared the firearm in his face.
Opera Law Firm and Legal Consultations confirmed to “Echo Al-Balad” that a decision had already been issued to imprison Hussam Habib in favor of producer Yasser Khalil, after he was accused of attempting to kill.
The company explained that this decision is not final, as Hossam Habib has the right to appeal this decision within the legal period specified for him, but the imprisonment decision confirms that Hossam Habib is convicted and that Yasser Khalil is innocent.
Investigations resulted in the two parties being brought to criminal trial, acquitting producer Yasser Khalil, punishing Hossam El-Din Habib, with a one-year imprisonment and compensation of 10 thousand pounds.
